Kirston Verhulst is a gritty freshman guard who’s already flashing shot-making upside for Middle Tennessee
In the 2025-26 season, Kirston Verhulst has shown a classic young-guard profile: modest scoring but steady minutes, defensive activity, and a few breakout shooting nights that hint at real upside. Her best pop came in a January 2026 win over UTEP, when she poured in a career-high 17 points and hit five 3-pointers, a strong sign she can stretch the floor when she gets comfortable. At Bishop Miege, she was a 2023 4A Player of the Year and a three-time All-State pick, which says she brings winner’s DNA, not just stats.
