Kansas’s RB depth piece with a tough, team-first profile
Brandon Watkins is listed as a Kansas Jayhawks running back, but publicly available current game-production data is limited, so the clearest read is that he profiles as a depth/role player rather than a headline stat leader. What stands out is the roster fit: Kansas has had injury churn in the backfield, and Watkins’s value would come from reliability, special-teams usefulness, and being ready when called. If you’re looking for a low-drama, coachable back who can help stabilize a room and do the dirty work, he’s the kind of player worth caring about.
