Ron Johnson brings veteran size and sure-handed Gophers receiver value
Ron Johnson is listed as a senior WR for Minnesota in 2026, but the available public roster data doesn’t show current-season production, so the clean read is profile over box score: he’s a veteran wideout with a classic bigger-bodied frame and program familiarity, which usually translates into dependable routes, contested-catch usefulness, and steadier communication in the room. For a team, the appeal is experience and role stability more than headline stats—he looks like a receiver who can do the dirty work and fit a disciplined offense.
