Gavin Hudson brings two-way upside and size to Delaware State’s infield and mound mix
In the 2026 season, Delaware State lists Gavin Hudson as a 6-foot-4 freshman MIF/RHP, and that rare size for a middle-infield arm gives him real developmental intrigue. He was an All-Conference performer at Sussex Technical and helped win a Henlopen Conference title, which hints at competitiveness and winning pedigree. The early 2026 numbers show a rough start on the mound, but the profile still screams upside: long-term athleticism, dual-position value, and the kind of arm strength and versatility that can fit a roster looking for multi-tool pieces.
