Depth-Chart Name to Watch at Iowa State
Cody Stafford is listed by Iowa State as a 5-foot-8, 172-pound senior from Winthrop, Iowa, but the available roster information does not show recent game production or a clear statistical role for him in the program.[1] Based on that, he looks more like a developmental or depth piece than a headline impact player, with value likely tied to experience, toughness, and fit in the room rather than measurable output. If you are evaluating him for fit, the key question is whether his football IQ, reliability, and special-teams or scout-team value match your need for steady veteran support.[1]
