Queens utility Matthew Kenney is a low-risk, high-upside depth piece with academic buy-in
In the 2026 season, Matthew Kenney is listed on Queens University’s baseball roster as a utility player, but he has not recorded any game action yet, so his on-field profile is still a blank slate[1]. What stands out right now is not stat production but roster flexibility and development upside: Queens has also highlighted him in its 2025-26 academic recognition group, which suggests a player trusted for consistency, discipline, and team-first habits[1][2]. If your team wants a versatile, coachable depth option rather than an immediate stat-sheet star, Kenney fits that mold.
