Francis Ezeiru gives Maryland Eastern Shore a sturdy, paint-first center
Francis Ezeiru is a classic interior big who brings size, rebounding and shot-blocking punch to Maryland Eastern Shore; in his senior season, he was a 6-foot-10, 260-pound starter who averaged 7.4 points, 7.0 rebounds and a team-high seven blocks through the first five games, and later finished with stretch production that included a 10-rebound, 10-point double-double. He’s the kind of center you care about if you want rim protection, physicality and straight-line effort—plus he’s been trusted as an early-season starter, which says coaches valued his presence even when the offense wasn’t built around him.
