Cade Colombara is a promising Cal arm with late-inning poise
In the 2026 season, the 6-foot-4 freshman right-hander from Jesuit HS has already shown Cal it can trust him in pressure spots: he logged a six-out save, worked clean emergency innings, and flashed the kind of ground-ball efficiency that plays in the ACC.[11][4] He’s not just stuff-and-giggles — his value is the calm, competitive profile of a young pitcher who can escape jams, give length, and keep the ball on the dirt when things get spicy.[4][11]
