Zhaiylen Scott brings early-impact pass-rush juice to North Texas
Zhaiylen Scott is a disruptive, high-motor defensive lineman for North Texas whose 2025 run flashed real upside before an injury slowed him down: in his first five games, he posted 14 tackles, 2.0 sacks, 2.0 tackles for loss, a fumble recovery, and 3 quarterback hurries after logging only spot duty as a true freshman in 2024. He looks like a fit for teams that value burst, effort, and edge-to-interior versatility, and his Cedar Hill background hints at a player who has been productive and physical for a long time.
