A versatile Utah State defender with size, pedigree, and upside
Paxton Naegle arrived at Utah State as a three-star Utah recruit and has the frame teams love: 6-foot-4 and 265 pounds on the Aggies’ current roster. He’s been used as a defensive lineman/edge-type piece rather than a volume-stats player, and that makes him intriguing as a developmental fit—big enough to hold the point, athletic enough to project forward, and versatile enough to move around the front. He also brings a local, blue-collar pedigree from Corner Canyon, where he played in 37 games with 37 starts and produced 45 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, and a forced fumble in high school.
