Jamal Coleman brings pedigree and secondary upside to Tennessee State
Jamal Coleman is a highly regarded defensive back signee for Tennessee State, with recruiting coverage noting a three-star profile and offers from Power 4 programs; in 2024, he was ranked No. 867 overall and No. 83 among cornerbacks, giving the Tigers a legit developmental piece with press-coverage length and versatility. The fit question is mostly about upside: he looks like a competitive, physical DB who can grow into a reliable matchup defender, but there isn’t enough public 2026 production data here to judge current on-field impact yet.
