a Maine guard with program-level toughness and a steady floor game
Pam Cruz is a Maine Black Bears guard whose value is less about flash and more about reliability, poise, and doing the connective work teams need in a backcourt. Available public results on her current season performance are limited, so the cleanest read is that she profiles as a system fit rather than a headline-grabber: a guard you care about if you want discipline, effort, and structure on both ends. If you need a high-usage scoring engine, she is not the obvious answer; if you want a dependable teammate who can raise the baseline of a roster, she is worth a closer look.
