Najee Clayton brings proven backfield disruption and veteran linebacker grit to Western Michigan
Najee Clayton is a disruptive, experienced linebacker whose best trait is playmaking behind the line of scrimmage: in the 2019 season at Western Michigan, he posted 34 total tackles, 8.0 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and 2 pass breakups. His value goes beyond the box score—he’s built like an active, downhill defender who can create chaos, and Western Michigan even recognized his leadership and sportsmanship with a team award. If you want a tone-setter who can pressure the pocket and punch above his weight, he’s the kind of fit that makes coordinators smile.
