Explosive Elusive RB with Limited College Production
Mashion Powell, a shifty running back from North Carolina Central, flashed big-play potential in high school with 824 rushing yards, 269 receiving yards, and 12 TDs as a senior at Reagan HS, but has managed just 17 carries for 122 yards and 1 TD in his college career per ESPN stats. His 7.2 YPC average highlights burst and elusiveness from his track background, making him a versatile weapon in open space—perfect fit for teams needing a change-of-pace back who can catch passes and ignite big plays, though low volume suggests untapped upside or depth chart battles.
