Kent State freshman Luke Simms is a young receiver with upside and camp buzz
Luke Simms, a 2026 freshman WR at Kent State, enters the season as a 5'11", 175-pound Westlake, Ohio product from St. Ignatius HS, and he’s already been singled out in camp as one of the newcomers “making a lot of plays.” The appeal is clear: he looks like a twitchy, explosive receiver who can create after the catch and fit into a developing room, but he’s still early in the climb and has no public college stat line yet. If you want a developmental upside bet with energy and playmaking juice, he’s worth a hard look.
