TCU’s all-time sniper who did the dirty work, too
In the 2019-20 season at TCU, Desmond Bane averaged 16.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game while ranking second in the Big 12 in scoring; over his TCU career he became the program’s all-time leader in three-pointers made (249) and wins (84). Bane’s differentiators were elite shot-making, high-IQ playmaking, and physical toughness—he stayed productive across four seasons and became the kind of guard coaches trust because he can score without hijacking the offense. If you want a steady, competitive, spacing-first guard with winning habits, he was a no-brainer.
