Lucas Shannon brings title-game poise, strikeout stuff, and big-frame upside to San Diego
Lucas Shannon enters San Diego with real pro-style upside: a tall, high-waisted 6-1 frame with room to add, a direct swing path at the plate, and right-handed pitching that helped Salpointe Catholic go 26-1 in 2025 and win a state title in an 8-0 championship game he reportedly started with a complete-game shutout and 8 strikeouts. He was ranked No. 19 in the 2025 class by Prep Baseball Report, making him a high-ceiling arm for teams that value competitiveness, efficiency, and growth potential rather than just present-day polish.
