Illinois State DL Powerhouse Poised for Pro Leap
Ronald Maye, a disruptive 6'3", 260-lb defensive lineman for the Illinois State Redbirds, dominated the 2025 FCS season with 12 sacks and 22 TFLs, ranking top-5 nationally among DLs per NCAA stats; his explosive first step and non-stop motor make him a game-wrecker who collapses pockets and chases plays sideline-to-sideline. No major injury history, high football IQ, and relentless intensity shine in film breakdowns from ESPN and Reddit's r/CFB scouts—perfect fit for Power 5 teams needing immediate trench dominance without the prima donna attitude.
