Efstratios Kalogerias brings size, rim protection, and veteran polish to Norfolk State
Kalogerias is a 6-10, 230-pound frontcourt veteran from Greece whose game is built on rebounding, interior defense, and versatility; in the 2020-21 season, he averaged 2.4 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 0.6 assists in 42 career games at Norfolk State, with career shooting marks of 37.9% from the field and 19.4% from three. He first made noise at Hillsborough CC by averaging 7.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game as a sophomore and ranking 24th in NJCAA Division I rebounds per game. The appeal is simple: he’s a physical, experienced big who can change shots, rebound in traffic, and do the dirty work that winning teams quietly love.
