Yale’s growing interior anchor with real varsity mileage
In the 2025 season, Cooper Austin appeared in all 12 games for Yale and logged 10 total tackles with his first-career sack coming against Princeton, giving the Bulldogs a sturdy, experienced DL presence who’s already shown he can handle snaps in big games. Listed at 6-foot-2 and 290 pounds for 2026, he looks built to eat blocks, hold the point, and bring a little extra juice as a senior—exactly the kind of trench player coaches love because the box score never fully captures the mess he makes.
