Luke Jacobs has been Utah’s leadoff spark plug, flashing pop and consistency in 2026
In the 2026 season, Luke Jacobs has been a high-impact left-handed leadoff hitter for Utah, with multiple big games including a 5-for-6 night versus Utah Tech, a two-homer game against Utah Valley, and a 4-for-6, 2-double effort against Kansas. He entered the year as Utah’s offensive catalyst, and his blend of contact, extra-base ability, and plate discipline makes him a strong fit for teams needing a top-of-order bat who can set the tone and punish mistakes.
