Big-bodied Wisconsin freshman OL with old-school Badger traits
Patrick Kasl is listed on Wisconsin’s 2026 roster as a 6-foot-5, 325-pound freshman offensive lineman from Forest Lake, Minnesota[1]. His appeal is the classic Wisconsin profile: size, mass, and developmental upside for the trenches, plus enough recruiting pedigree to have once been ranked a solid four-star/3-star-type prospect by major services[4]. The main watchpoint is that publicly available current game-production data is limited, so the question is less “what has he done?” and more “how quickly can Wisconsin’s staff turn that frame into dependable Big Ten power?”[1][4]
