Purdue Fort Wayne’s all-time deep threat turned steady guard presence
Botts was a standout Purdue Fort Wayne guard whose calling card was elite shooting—he finished his playing career as the program’s all-time leader in three-pointers and fourth in scoring with 1,400 points[2][1]. In the 2023-24 season context, his game is best understood as high-IQ, perimeter-oriented, and proven under pressure, with a reputation as one of the top shooters in school history[4][2]. If you value spacing, composure, and a guard who can change a game without needing the ball constantly, he fits the mold of a reliable, program-tested contributor[4].
