Experienced Coastal Carolina guard with hometown toughness
Mason Grigg is listed by Coastal Carolina as a 6-1, 180-pound guard from Rock Hill, S.C., and his profile suggests a local, high-IQ backcourt piece with a competitive edge rather than a pure stat-stuffer. He’s the kind of player who can fit a program that values toughness, discipline, and team-first habits—especially with family ties to winning basketball in the Rock Hill area. The big appeal here is projection: a guard who brings maturity, identity, and guard depth, even if public stat lines and ranking buzz are limited.
