Intriguing USD Interior Anchor with Grit and Local Roots
Collin Dowling is a San Diego Toreros defensive tackle from Fallbrook, California, listed at 6-foot-1, 265 pounds, and his appeal is the old-school, lunch-pail kind: size, local familiarity, and a blue-collar edge that fits trench play[1][2]. Publicly available team bio and roster data show limited statistical output, so the real value case is projection—he’s the kind of interior defender you want if you need toughness, leverage, and a player who looks built for dirty work in the run game rather than headline-grabbing numbers[1][2].
