A veteran ECU guard who could stretch the floor
Shamarr Bowden brings classic guard value: size on the perimeter, proven three-point shooting, and veteran experience. In the 2011-12 season at East Carolina, he averaged 8.3 points and hit 59 threes at a 40.4% clip, and ECU notes he finished his Pirate career ranked 10th all-time in 3-point percentage (.382). He also played through injury and even missed time late in 2012-13, which adds a little grit-and-grind context to his profile. If you want a tough, space-the-floor wing with shot-making juice, he’s worth a look.
