Columbia LB Zach Johnson: steady, productive, and built for reliability
Zach Johnson profiles as a dependable linebacker with proven production, physicality, and strong pass-defense instincts; in 2025 at Southeastern Louisiana, he started all 13 games and finished with 33 tackles and 11 pass breakups, showing he can stay on the field and affect throws, not just chase ball carriers.[13] His calling card is versatility and ball awareness, backed by solid size and football IQ in scouting-style ratings that favor tackling, pursuit, and coverage.[4] If you want a linebacker who brings consistency, communication, and clean assignment play rather than flash, he looks like a strong fit.
