Steven Hicks brings a proven transfer-back profile to Sam Houston’s backfield
Steven Hicks is a physical, production-backed running back whose value goes beyond box-score carries: he has shown burst, finishing ability, and enough all-purpose impact to earn national recognition in a previous stop, which makes him intriguing if Sam Houston wants a dependable, multi-use runner rather than just a straight-line grinder. The main question is fit and current role, because the available sources do not provide recent Sam Houston game production, so his appeal rests more on prior résumé, toughness, and scheme versatility than on fresh stat-line momentum.
