rangy Louisville DB with NFL-flavored upside, now sidelined by injury
In the 2026 preseason, Josh Minkins showed up with two tackles against Green Bay before an undisclosed injury knocked his momentum off course, and he was later waived from injured reserve with an injury settlement. At 6-foot-2 and about 196-207 pounds, he brings length and size to the back end, plus experience from Cincinnati, Louisville, and pro camps. The appeal is his frame, versatility, and special-teams/depth value; the caution flag is availability, because his recent injury history has already interrupted a roster push.
