Savannah State DB Darrell Bonner brings veteran size, leadership, and proven ball skills
Darrell Bonner is a senior defensive back for Savannah State listed at 5-10, 175, and he has the look of a seasoned secondary piece rather than a developmental flyer[1][4]. His profile stands out for experience, discipline, and pedigree: he was a first-team all-state DB in high school, earned all-region honors, and was credited with 85 tackles and 3.0 sacks in the 2017 season while playing multiple years at Savannah State[1][9][11]. For a team, he projects as a reliable, tough-minded defender who can bring maturity, special-teams value, and steady coverage help rather than flashy hype[1][15].
