a former Duquesne QB with proven arm talent, but not a current roster fit
Marty Mitchell is a former Duquesne quarterback, not a current 2026 Dukes player, so he is not an active on-field fit for a team today.[1][3][13] In his Duquesne career and early recruiting profile, he was known as a 6-2, 195-pound passer with a strong resume: a three-year high school starter, a state top-5 QB prospect in Michigan, and a player who threw for 1,387 yards and 15 touchdowns while adding 114 rushing yards and three scores in his senior year.[12] That background suggests a poised, dual-threat quarterback with leadership upside, but his value now is historical rather than current.[12]
