Mason Petridis brings a sturdy, pro-style arm to Wright State’s rotation
Petridis is a 6-foot-2, 210-pound right-handed pitcher from Austintown Fitch who arrives at Wright State with a reputation as a solid, downhill strike-thrower and a compact arm action; Prep Baseball noted his high-3/4 slot, consistent arm speed, and “drop-and-drive” delivery in the 2025 class rankings, where he checked in at No. 28 in Ohio and No. 10 among pitchers. Wright State lists him as a freshman RHP for the 2026 roster, but there are no college stats available yet, so the real takeaway is upside: he looks like a physical, repeatable arm with room to develop into a dependable innings eater.
