Big frame, early flashes, and rotation depth for McNeese
Carlos Garcia is a redshirt junior right-hander for McNeese in the 2026 season who brings a power body at 6-foot-6, 265 pounds and has shown he can miss bats early in outings; McNeese noted he held UIW hitless through three innings on April 12, 2026, and later was listed in the weekend rotation with a 3.21 ERA on May 6, 2026[1][2]. That combination of size, starter’s look, and effective stretches makes him an intriguing fit if you want upside and innings potential, though the profile still reads as developing rather than proven, with limited season stat volume and a rough outing in the April 19, 2026 loss to Corpus Christi[1][2][3].
