Akron TE Tim Ritley Brings Transfer Experience and Upside to the Zips
Tim Ritley is a **transfer tight end** whose appeal is less about flashy box-score volume and more about **experience, versatility, and roster value**; available team notes indicate he has been with **Old Dominion, Iowa Western, and most recently Michigan State (2024-25)**, with **five games played at Old Dominion in 2025** and a prior JUCO resume that included **888 receiving yards as a junior-college wide receiver**, suggesting a player who can adapt quickly and offer developmental upside in Akron’s tight end room.[2] If you want a fit who can add depth, learn multiple systems, and bring a competitive edge from a varied path, he’s worth monitoring.[2]
