veteran Hokies guard who brought steadiness, steals, and timely scoring
Kirby Copeland was a 5-foot-10 guard for Virginia Tech who, in the 2006-07 season, earned All-ACC honorable mention and ranked among the team’s most reliable two-way contributors. Her value went beyond the box score: she played with edge, created disruption defensively, and showed the kind of toughness and basketball IQ coaches love in a guard. If you want a steady backcourt piece who can defend, compete, and make winning plays, Copeland fit that mold beautifully.
