CJ Hunt brings early-career trench toughness to Western Illinois
CJ Hunt profiles as a developmental **defensive lineman** with the kind of physical, high-motor traits that matter in the trenches: leverage, effort, and a willingness to fight through traffic rather than just chase box-score stats. His Western Illinois roster listing confirms his role with the Leathernecks, but public stat detail on his current college production is limited, so the best read is on fit rather than flash—he looks like a player who can add depth, compete hard snap-to-snap, and help a defense by doing the dirty work that doesn’t always show up in the numbers.[7]
