Freshman DB Jaxon Earle brings size, ball skills, and early playmaking pop to Wofford
Jaxon Earle enters the 2026 season as a 6-foot-1, 205-pound freshman defensive back for Wofford, and the early buzz is about his upside more than any box-score line. Wofford’s August scrimmage notes credited him with an interception, a nice early sign of ball awareness and range. He was also described in prep coverage as an ultra-versatile defensive back with production, including 77 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 5 pass breakups, and 4 interceptions in his senior year. If your team wants a physical, athletic DB with room to grow and clear playmaking instincts, he’s worth a serious look.
