a steady, high-IQ guard with big-shot pedigree
Italee Lucas was a 5-foot-8 guard at North Carolina who became known for poise, shot-making, and late-game nerve — the kind of player who can flip a game when the moment gets loud. In the 2010-11 season, she averaged 16.2 points per game, and her Tar Heel career featured multiple high-scoring outbursts, including a 33-point game against NC State in 2010. She also carried elite-team experience from USA Basketball and a McDonald’s All-American background, which hints at strong competitiveness and basketball instincts beyond the box score.
