Jake Hower is a contact-first corner outfielder with strong run production
Hower stands out as a reliable high-school-to-college transition bat: in the 2025-26 McDowell season he hit .342 with 20 RBI, 17 runs, and a .964 fielding percentage, while also earning top-29 ranking recognition in Class AAAAAA and top-20 in PIAA District X for one stat. His profile suggests a productive, steady corner outfielder who can put the ball in play, contribute offensively, and handle his defensive responsibilities without glaring risk. Cornell’s roster lists him, but no collegiate statistics are available yet, so the main draw is his current prep production and upside rather than a proven Ivy League track record.[2][3]
