Alabama’s Big-Frame Lefty with Frontline Stuff and SEC Poise
Adams has been a steady weekend starter for Alabama, showing the kind of power-lefty profile pro teams love: 100 strikeouts in 90 1/3 innings in 2026, a 6-foot-4 frame, and the ability to miss bats against elite SEC opponents.[1][2] His calling card is swing-and-miss stuff and competitive toughness, highlighted by scoreless or quality outings against Vanderbilt, Texas, and Auburn, plus a nine-strikeout season debut.[1] He was drafted by the Orioles in 2026, which underscores his pro-ready appeal, and he looks like a fit for teams that value a strikeout pitcher with upside more than polish alone.[2][3]
