SUU’s Senior QB Dominates with Precision and Grit
Zack Olsen, Southern Utah’s senior quarterback, led the Thunderbirds to a 44-point rout of Weber State in October 2025, showcasing elite pocket presence, rapid decision-making, and unmatched intensity. Unlike typical QBs, Olsen thrives under pressure—his 2024 redshirt season was spent mastering SUU’s offense after the OC’s abrupt departure, proving his adaptability and mental toughness. He carries no major injury history, plays with a ‘next-man-up’ mentality, and is known for his calm leadership and fiery competitiveness. With a 6’2” frame, 195 lbs, and a 68% completion rate in 2025, Olsen is a perfect fit for teams needing a steady, battle-tested leader who elevates his offense in critical moments.
