Murray State's Versatile Two-Way Threat from the 2017 Class
Corey Newble, a 6-0, 190-pound athlete out of Liberty Tech Magnet High in Jackson, TN, made his mark at Murray State in the 2017 season by playing in 11 games with two starts, splitting time at quarterback and wide receiver—highlighting his rare versatility and adaptability. He threw for two touchdowns against Missouri State, showcasing playmaking grit under pressure. His dual-threat skill set, evident in high school Hudl highlights, makes him a differentiator for teams needing flexible weapons; no major injury flags, but limited college production suggests he's a high-upside developmental fit for FCS or G5 programs seeking multi-positional intensity.
