Boubacar Traore is Notre Dame’s disruptive edge menace with big-play juice
Traore enters the 2026 season as a proven, active defender for Notre Dame after a breakout 2025 campaign in which he recorded 37 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, and 8 quarterback hurries. He’s the kind of DL who changes protections: long, explosive, and capable of winning with burst and effort, with the added credibility of producing early in his career despite missing time with injury in 2024 and previously suffering a season-ending setback. If you want a high-motor edge with upside and pass-rush punch, he’s absolutely worth your attention.
