UMass QB History, Not a Current TE Profile
A.J. Doyle is listed by ESPN as a Massachusetts Minutemen tight end, but the most verifiable football history attached to that name is his former UMass quarterback career, where he totaled 1,689 passing yards and 9 TDs from 2012-2015. That means there is not enough reliable current-season evidence to fairly grade him as an active TE in 2026, which is the big scouting caveat here. If you’re evaluating fit, treat him as an uncertain roster case rather than a proven receiving mismatch threat or in-line blocker.
