Proven Bruin guard, but not currently on UCLA’s roster
Jrue Holiday is a former UCLA guard, not an active UCLA Bruins player in the 2026 season; he played one college season in 2008-09, starting all 35 games and averaging 8.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.6 steals while ranking second on the team in assists and steals. His differentiators were elite two-way instincts, poise, and on-ball defense, traits that later translated into an NBA title run with Boston in 2024. If the question is about fit, he is the kind of high-IQ, low-drama, defense-first guard any team would love—but UCLA should not be listed as his current status.
