versatile 6-7 forward who brings IQ, length, and proven winning pedigree
Jake Ehlers arrived at Portland as a high-IQ, versatile forward and former Oregon 5A Player of the Year, with the program specifically praising his athleticism, basketball smarts, and fit in the system.[1] In his Portland career, he produced modest counting stats — 2.0 points and 1.0 rebounds per game — but his value was more about floor-spacing and efficiency, highlighted by a 44.4% mark from three in 2012-13.[2][7] He’s the kind of low-ego, team-first wing who can help if you need shooting, positional size, and a player who already knows how to win.[1][7]
