Academic Standout DL with Solid 2021 Tackle Production for Leathernecks
Hunter Mason, a Western Illinois Leathernecks defensive lineman, earned MVFC All-Academic Honorable Mention in 2021 while ranking 8th on the team with 34 tackles, including 4 solo stops, a sack, and a forced fumble vs. South Dakota—highlighting his disruptive intensity and football IQ.[5][2] A magna cum laude grad pursuing a Sport Management master's, his two-way high school versatility and academic excellence make him a low-risk, high-character fit for teams valuing disciplined, intelligent linemen who contribute off-field too.[1] Care because he's the prototypical developmental gem with proven motor.
