Fresno State LB competing for a role
Whittington is a Fresno State linebacker who arrived with a productive high school résumé and is now **competing for playing time** after joining the program in the spring[4]. At 6-foot-1 and 235 pounds, he has the frame to play downhill and bring physicality, and his recruiting profile shows Fresno State signed him as an outside linebacker with recognized upside[2][6]. The biggest reason to care is projection: he looks like a *developmental defender* with tackling pedigree and enough size to fit a team that wants toughness and depth at linebacker[4][6].
