SIU Salukis' Steady 6-0 Forward from the 2010-11 Era
Rani Brandon, a 6-0 junior forward for the Southern Illinois Salukis women's basketball team, averaged 7.7 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game in the 2010-11 season, delivering consistent scoring in limited minutes as a reliable role player.[1] Her differentiator was gritty inside play without flash, chipping in 6 points against Bradley despite an 80-44 loss, showing toughness under pressure.[3] No notable injury history or pro path emerges, making her a solid fit for teams needing low-ego, fundamentals-driven forwards who elevate bench production—care if you value hustle over headlines from that MVC era.[1][3]
