Erin Gibbs is Grambling’s battle-tested senior arm with real SWAC upside
In the 2026 season, Erin Gibbs has been a reliable workhorse for Grambling State, highlighted by a complete-game win over Southern on April 18 and another strong outing in relief at Alcorn State, showing toughness, poise, and the ability to settle games down under pressure. Her calling card is command and competitiveness: as a freshman in 2023, she went 10-4 with a 3.45 ERA, 60 strikeouts, and eight complete games, and she was named SWAC Pitcher of the Week. She looks like a fit for teams that value durable, no-drama rotation stability.
